We offer two types of visit

 

Self-guided tours: the tour can be followed at your own rhythm (recommended duration: 1 to 2 hours), with or without the free audioguide of the castle's interiors (duration: 1 hour).

(available languages : Français, English, Deutsch, Italiano, Español, Vlaamse, Português, 中国, 日本人).

 

Information sheets are available in each room, providing essential information about the rooms, which have been carefully refurbished in keeping with the taste of each period.

 

You can also stroll freely through the alleys of the English-style park*, where the remarkable trees and gushing fountains will take you away from time.

 

Guided tour of the interiors in french

(subject to availability, booking recommended,+4€ per person):

One of the château's owners will guide you for around 1 hour on a lively, dynamic tour in French, taking you through the entire interior: the Second Empire thermal baths, the spiral staircase, the guard room, the music and games rooms, the patient's room, the sumptuous ballroom and the grand salons of the 17th-century classical wing, not forgetting the King's Room and its private chapel. You can also take an exclusive look inside the Château de Thézan's exceptional cabinet of ebony and its ‘secrets’.

 

Fun for all the family :

For children aged 7 to 77, and for a family visit, we are offering a free treasure hunt that will make your visit to the château even more fun. The reward will be at the end of the trail!

Reduced : 8 €

     Reduced rate on presentation of justification:

    - children aged 8 to 17 included

    - students up to the age of 25

    - working journalists

    - unemployed

    - recipients of the solidarity allowance for the elderly

    - disabled card holders

    - groups of 15 people or more

 

Free admission :

    - children up to 10 years old

    - people in wheelchairs

 

 

Annual Pass : 30 €

    Free admission on days and during opening hours to the public. Personal passes valid for the person named and for the current season.

The castle is a privately funded historical monument
Thanks to your visit, you will help restore the Domaine de Thézan

 

Admission: the ticket gives access to the rooms of the château and the Cour d'Honneur.

*Access to the Park is available to ticket-holding visitors when it is open to the public (the Park is closed during high winds, for obvious safety reasons).

 

Accessibility: the park and the rooms on the ground floor of the Château are accessible to wheelchair users. For your comfort, we advise you to come with someone who can help you through the few more difficult passages. Unfortunately, the first floor is not accessible due to the use of historic staircases.

 

Animals: except for guide and assistance dogs, pets are not allowed.

 

Audioguide of the Castle's interiors: offered to ticket holders, using a code to be scanned and listened to on your mobile phone.

 

Rules: The Domaine has areas that are under construction or inaccessible, so visitors must not go beyond the limits of the areas open to the public.

The water bodies present risks of accidents or drowning, visitors must not approach their banks or their edges.

Minors 15 years of age and under are under the care and responsibility of an adult companion.

Due to the risk of fire, the Domaine is entirely non-smoking.
